Magnetic closure
Concealed magnets in the lid and base for a clean snap. The signature premium open.
Packaging format
A rigid box is a non-collapsible box built from thick greyboard wrapped in printed paper, used for luxury and high-value products where the packaging is part of the product experience.
Rigid boxes are what people mean when they say packaging feels expensive. They are built from 1200-2000gsm greyboard, then wrapped in a separately printed paper. Because the structure and the print are two different materials, you get a level of surface finish that a printed corrugated box cannot reach: deep blacks, true soft-touch, clean foil.
They do not ship flat. That means higher freight and storage costs than a mailer, and it is the main reason rigid boxes are reserved for products that can carry the cost, such as fragrance, electronics, spirits, jewellery, premium supplements, and gifting or PR sets.
The three common styles are magnetic closure (a hinged lid that snaps shut), telescoping (a separate lid that slides over a base) and drawer (a sleeve with a pull-out tray). Magnetic reads most premium, telescoping is the most cost-efficient, and drawer is the most tactile.

Gold, silver, copper or holographic foil pressed into the wrap. Reads best on dark or textured stock.
Raised or recessed logo pressed into the wrap. Adds texture you notice before you read anything.
EVA foam, flocked foam or moulded pulp cut to your product so nothing shifts in transit.

Two reasons. The materials are heavier, using thick greyboard plus a separately printed wrap instead of a single printed sheet, and the assembly is partly manual. Rigid boxes also ship assembled rather than flat, so freight and storage cost more per unit.
50 units, the same as our other formats. Because rigid box tooling is simpler than injection tooling, small runs stay viable.
Yes. The greyboard core is typically 80-100% recycled by default, and we can specify FSC-certified or recycled-content wrap paper. Note that lamination and foil reduce recyclability, so ask us for the uncoated alternatives if end-of-life matters to your brand.
